At issue was an anonymous complaint alleging that County Commissioner Sara Baxter flew on a private plane partially owned by a lobbyist to the inauguration of Gov. Ron DeSantis in January 2023.
The Palm Beach County Commission on Ethics has dismissed an ethics complaint against County Commissioner Sara Baxter, but, at the same time, concluded that she may have violated the ethics code by failing to report gifts allegedly given to her by lobbyist Ron Book.
